Freestanding Bathtub
Freestanding bathtubs are also called claw bathtubs or vintage bathtubs. This bathtub uses a classic retro design. The main body of the bathtub is placed independently and supported off the ground by four decorative feet (usually imitating animal claws or spherical shapes). They are usually made of cast iron and coated with enamel inside, which is very strong and durable, and has good thermal insulation properties. It was very popular in the middle of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century, and was regarded as a symbol of affluence and luxury. Today, they are often used to create retro or luxury style bathroom decoration.
